Erin and Lorne’s wedding was truly one of a kind. It was our honor to photograph the special day of these two military pilots. Their wedding was full of rustic charm and love for family and friends (including their beloved family dogs who did not leave their sides, even during the ceremony). Their ceremony was held at Sunset Point, a secluded meadow at Paradise Springs. After the ceremony, we travelled to nearby Nelder Grove for a photo session among the Giant Sequoias. The reception was relaxed, yet full of fun with everyone enjoying and dancing to the bluegrass music of “Poor Man’s Poison.” They are one of the best bluegrass bands we’ve seen live, and we were not surprised that they recently have won national honors. We love that Erin put on her cowboy boots so she could spend the evening dancing. Erin had so many creative touches at the reception including antique crates, bottles and jugs. Our favorite item, though, was the antique U.S. flag on display honoring both the bride and groom and many military friends and family also in attendance. Congratulations Erin and Lorne!
